Archtop Guitar
This is a recent 16" body archtop guitar that I made for a customer. Top is Sitka spruce and the back and sides are Hawaiian koa. Pickguard and binding are pheasant wood. Fingerboard, bridge , and tailpiece are ebony. The F-holes are bound with black dyed wood. The descending turtle inlays were requested by the buyer. It is also fitted with a Fishman pickup in the bridge. Cost for a similar guitar with case is currently about $5000.00.
