Koa & Spruce Mauna Loa Model Artist Series Guitar
My Artist Series instruments are one of a kind pieces. This guitar is a Mauna Loa model instrument built in the double soundhole Hawaiian style.
The top is Italian Spruce, the back and sides are curly koa, fretboard and bridge are Indian rosewood, and the binding is also curly koa. The fretboard has a unique volcano inlay around the 12th fret. The top has abalone purfling and the soundholes are also trimmed with abalone. Tuners are by Grover and have ebony buttons added.
The pickup system is by Fishman. It is easy to use with a wide range of adjust for tailoring the tone to your likes.
I love these double soundhole guitars. Great tone and volume.
