This is a new soprano sized ukulele that I recently finished. The top, back, and sides are curly Hawaiian koa wood. The fretboard, bridge, headstock cap, and binding are ebony. The body has abalone purfling and the rosette is abalone. There is also an abalone inlay on the bridge and mother-of-pearl diamond fret markers. It is fitted with the best quality Grover friction tuners with grained ivoroid buttons and has a bone nut and saddle. My inlays are cut by hand. No lasers and no thin laminated shell. The one-of-a-kind headstock koi inlay is made from mother-of-pearl, pink mussel shell, abalone, and stone. The instrument is finished with. high gloss traditional nitrocellulose lacquer.
