Curly Koa Artist Series Tenor Ukulele 10/2020 SOLD

This is a curly koa Artist Series tenor ukulele with my classic shape body. Top, back, and sides are matched very curly koa. Neck is Spanish Cedar with a carbon fiber reinforcement and the fretboard has a 16" radius. The fretboard and bridge are Pheasant wood The body and neck are  bound in Hawaiian Milo wood. Both the top and back have solid Paua shell purfling. The rosette is extra wide hand cut Paua shell and the bridge and neck heel also have a Paua shell decoration. The 2 dolphin inlay at the 3rd fret on the fretboard is Paua shell and Mother-of Pearl. The logo is also Mother-of-Pearl. The slotted headstock is fitted with high quality German Schaller tuners. The nut and saddle are black micarta which Martin Guitars used for many years. It has a more consistent density than bone, which promotes tone. Currently strung with Aquila hi G strings. High gloss nitrocellulose finish. Comes with a quality arch top hardshell case.
