Curly Koa Tenor Ukulele For Sale 1/31/2020  ON HOLD

 This tenor ukulele has extra curly Hawaiian koa top, back, fretboard, head cap, bridge,  and sides. Milo wood binding on the body.  Abalone rosette and bridge inlay, abalone heel cap, nickel plated best quality cast plate, 18:1 gear ratio Grover tuners. Slotted headstock with curly koa headcap. Abalone neck position markers. Neck is Spanish cedar with a carbon fiber reinforcement rod. 16" radius on the fretboard. Side soundport . Low string action, making it easy to play.  The finish is a mat finish lacquer, the same as I use on my Natural Series instruments. Mat means it is not shiny and is a slightly thinner finish than a high gloss. Thinner finishes are generally considered to be better for sound. I build 2 different tenor shapes.
