Milo Tenor Ukulele For Sale SOLD
This is a recently finished one of a kind tenor ukulele. It was started in 2015 and it took me over a year to find all the materials I wanted to use. The top, back, and sides are Hawaii grown Milo Wood. Milo is difficult to acquire and highly prized. Neck is Spanish Cedar with a carbon fiber truss rod for added strength, while the fretboard and bridge are a beautiful Pheasant Wood. The top, back, neck, and head are bound in curly koa. In addition, the top and back also have Paua shell purfling. The rosette, neck heel, and bridge decoration are Paua shell. The cutaway design gives easy access to the upper frets. A soundport is located on the upper bout.The inlay on this uke is hand cut from solid Paua or Mother-of-Pearl shell. It is fitted with gold plated Grover tuners with ebony buttons. It comes with a good quality hardshell case. Easy to play, good volume, and great tenor uke sound. Has a much more rich and rounded sound than an all koa tenor
