I make 2 body styles of Natural Series tenor ukulele, the Classic body shape and the Traditional body shape. The Natural series differs from my Artist Series ukuleles in not having body binding, and in not having all matching wood on the body. Over the years I have collected many beautiful pieces of koa that were not big enough to make a complete ukulele. I combine these pieces to make my Natural Series ukuleles. I try to use as much Hawaii grown wood as possible. The bodies are always curly koa and I try to use the nicest pieces for the top. I make my fretboards from a variety of Hawaiian hardwoods like milo, keawe, koa, or pheasant wood, depending on availability. All Natural Series ukuleles can have slotted or flat headstocks , gold plated Grover tuners, bound fretboards, sound ports, paua shell rosette, paua bridge inlay, paua fret markers, paua heel cap, a mat lacquer finish, and a hardshell case. The basic cost of an ukulele is $1895.00, plus shipping. Average shipping to Japan or the Mainland USA is about $150.00. Payment is by PayPal. Delivery is no more than 1 year from order date and can be much less, depending on my workload. The Natural Series is a no frills players instrument. Not fancy, just a nice, playable instrument.
